Hey there, Patrice here! My real name is Maria Patricia Del Mundo. I was born in Manila, Philippines. I’m 16 years old. Just in case this Tumblr page gets outdated I was born September 4, 1995. So if it’s past 2012 and this page still says I’m 16, just do the calculation. Haha.

I’m currently studying at Miriam College High School. On my third year. This year, I belong to section 5, I’m the President, the one who is given all the tedious tasks. Sigh.

I also belong to the school’s Debate Team called Forensics Guild. My teammates are my closest friends. In fact my best friends (Darla and Faith) and I made our group Tumblr last year. It’s still up ‘til now and you can find the most random things there. It’s summerblue. My other best friend (Marga) has a separate Tumblr. It’s lifeswings.

Oh. I’m also taking up ballet. Started when I was around 6-7 years old. It’s in other words, my passion. I look up to a lot of ballet dancers. I really love Sylvie Guillem, Ekaterina Maximova and Natalia Makarova but my personal favorites are Maria Kochetkova and Natalia Osipova. Both of them trained at the Bolshoi Ballet School. They’re both really lovely on stage, they have a great stage presence and I’d really love to see them perform live. 

I take up piano lessons too at the University of the Philippines College of Music. I just love classical music. I don’t know why but I’m very attached to it. I had a lame theory before that in my past life, I lived in the Renaissance period and was probably a musician or anything that has to do with classical music. LAME THEORY. 

So my Tumblr is named vivelaballerine which means The Lively Ballerina, The Happy Ballerina or The Jolly Ballerina. That’s because I’m very jolly and I love dancing ballet. HAHA. So my posts contain a lot of ballet photography, if it weren’t that obvious. Most of which come from Gene Schiavone. I also interview some dancers. It’s a working progress. I just started.
